Not only did the Bollywood actress go through the ‘eye candy’ stage, there was a lot she had to go through behind the scenes to even live up to that title. Staying, though, many divas have confided in how they’ve been asked to perform surgery for fuller breasts and better buttocks. Sameera Reddy is the latest member to talk about her ‘s*xy Sam’ phase. Scroll down for more information.
These days, Sameera is turning all her fears into her own strength. She uses her body position to stretch, normalize her marks and gray hair, and break her “ideal beauty standards.” The actress also opened up about her postpartum stage in her past and how she was cut off from people and faced major breakdowns to accept her body.
Sameera Reddy made her Bollywood debut in 2002 opposite Sohail Khan with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. While all her glitz and glamour kept her under the radar, she starved herself and survived with “one” idli to achieve that look.
During a conversation with Midday, Sameera Reddy revealed: I always had to pad my breasts and was told to do the boob job. Is this standard? It was talked about so openly that I wondered if as an actor I had to do it. I’m here.
She continued, “Many people choose corrective surgery and it is their choice. If it makes them happy, I say live and live, who are we to judge?”
Well, Sameera Reddy has come a long way. We are really proud of her.
