Need the perfect chiller to watch? Hulu has you covered. Below is a list of great horror movies on streaming services that fit right into your binge queue. But before we get into that, let’s discuss some worthwhile alternatives.
Hulu has the Swedish vampire story Let the Right One In (2008) and the body horror film Crimes of the Future (2022). There’s also the action flick Shadow in the Cloud, the Rebecca Hall-led ghost story of him, The Night House, and the failed romance Fresh (2022). Finally, check out Titane (2021), Censor (2021), The Lodge (2019), and the medieval horror film Black Death (2010).

Universal
Sean, played by Simon Pegg, finds himself in a rut when the film begins, taking a dead-end job and being dumped by his girlfriend. But it all takes a back seat when he and his friend Ed (Nick Frost) discover that a zombie apocalypse is right around the corner from them. You can eat this hilariously brutal masterpiece again and again.
IFC film
This Finnish creature movie is straight out of a feathery nightmare. This flick introduces Tinja, a 12-year-old girl who discovers a strange egg that hatches into a giant bird. The terrifying creature stands in stark contrast to her family’s expectations of perfection. You can take a look and come to your own conclusions.
Sundance Institute
Brandon Cronenberg (son of horror filmmaker David Cronenberg) wrote and directed, you guessed it, this film about possession. Dark Flick follows an assassin (Andrea Riseborough) who takes control of a stranger’s body to execute his target. When her mission fails, she is knocked out of the pilot’s seat. If you like all things sci-fi and horror, dare you watch this.

While not an outright horror movie, Thelma is a powerful supernatural thriller that deserves its place on this list of the best. A young woman entered college and befriended her fellow students. It soon becomes apparent that she has powers beyond her control. This stunning and haunting Norwegian coming-of-age film is a must-see.
Hulu
If you think you’re incredibly talented, can not see The Killing Machine is terrifying, but you may have seen a few scenes of Prey through your fingers. This addition to the Predator franchise takes place in the 300-year-old Comanche tribe and centers around a young warrior named Naru. For a compelling underdog story about humans resolutely fighting powerful aliens, see this.
