Hrithik Roshan has confirmed that Krrish 4 is definitely in the pipeline and “coming soon”. Fans have been waiting for the fourth installment in his hit superhero franchise. Directed by Hrithik Roshan’s father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, Koi… Mil Gaya is the first film in the franchise and was released in 2003. It was followed by Krrish which arrived in 2006 and his Krrish 3 in 2013.
Asked about Krrish 4, Hrithik Roshan told Pinkvilla in a new interview: Everything is set (for Krrish 4). Hopefully we’ll get over it by the end of the year, and Krrish 4 is definitely in the pipeline and will happen soon. ”
He also spoke about working on his next film, Fighter, and recalled his experiences being around the Indian Air Force. Last June, Hrithik caught a glimpse of Krrish 4 on Twitter. “The past is over. Let’s see what the future brings. #15YearsOfKrrish #Krrish4,” the actor wrote alongside a short video clip.
Krish follows Krishna (son of Rohit, the protagonist of Koi Mir Gaya, who has inherited his father’s superhuman abilities) and his quest to save the world around him from villains. Hrithik played his three characters Rohit, Krishna and Krrish in the film which also starred Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Rekha and Naseeruddin Shah.
Krrish 4 was first announced in 2018 when filmmaker Rakesh Roshan said the film would be released on Christmas Day 2020. However, the film has since been delayed.
