Hollywoodreporter.com: Haley Lu Richardson (White Lotus) and Ashley Park (Emily in Paris) have been tapped to announce the nominees for the 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Nominations will be announced Wednesday morning during a live announcement on @sagawards’ Instagram Live.
SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher and SAG Awards Committee members Jason George and Elizabeth McLaughlin will also be in attendance and the presentation will begin at 6:50 am.
Nominations for Best Action Performance by a Television and Film Ensemble follow, with Park and Richardson revealing nominations for the remaining categories beginning at 7 a.m. PT.
This is the third year that the SAG Awards nominations are announced exclusively on Instagram Live. Using social media, organizers aim to “create an authentic connection with the audience by reimagining the nomination announcement as a seamless virtual experience for both candidates and fans.
The 29th Annual SAG Awards Ceremony will be held on February 26 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Winners are chosen by a peer group of performers, with a total of 122,600 eligible voters.
