There are so many things that can be said about Kody Brown.
He’s clearly a bad husband. Clearly a bad parent. And don’t start with that hair!
However, daughter Gwendoline Brown recently revealed that she is not a big fan of her father.
For those who don’t know, a photo has been making the social media rounds, with some observers believing it depicts Kodi making out with his 20-year-old stepdaughter, Aurora.
(Aurora is the child of Robin Brown’s first marriage.)
In a Q&A with her followers this week, Gwendolyn addressed the allegations by saying:
“No, my father doesn’t kiss his children like that.
“Obviously, we’re kids, so we kiss him a little bit, but no, not at all. I’m sorry if you thought I was deceiving you. That’s horrible.”
Kody is the father of 18 children.
In addition to being adopted by Robin, he is also the father of Leon, 27, his only child with his first wife Meri Brown, Logan, 28, Madison, 27, Hunter, 25, Robert, 24, and Gabriel, 21. I have. Savana, 18, and his second wife Janelle Brown.
In addition to Gwendolyn, Cody shares Aspin, 27, Mykelti, 26, Paedon, 24, Isabel, 19, and Truly, 12, with Christine Brown.
All three of the last sister-wives mentioned above have left Kody in the last 14 months.
For her part, Gwendolyn has gotten pretty outspoken in the wake of her mother’s departure.
“I, are you leaving? Good luck!” Brown said in a YouTube video last month about how her mother broke the news to her.
“She said she was divorcing my father at the same time she moved out. I was all hyped for her. Of course I love him and visit her all the time.”
“But she was home and I was happy with her. I didn’t like their relationship, but she’s fine now.”
Elsewhere, the 20-year-old hasn’t hesitated to express her feelings about Robin.
A few weeks ago, Gwendolyn responded to a user’s question about how she felt about watching Sister Wives season 17 unfold.
“Seeing this made me feel less about Robin.
“But I don’t really like her as a person, so it doesn’t feel very fair to me.”
In a September 2022 episode of Sister Wives, Christine heavily hinted that Kody’s favoritism for Robin contributed to the end of their marriage.
“I think he has a favorite wife, and that’s why it’s all there,” she said at the time.
“And apparently, I’m not treating her enough.”
In November she added:
“I did a lot for my family. It was all about organizing family events, family gatherings, and family parties.
“My house was always open to everyone. I loved the big family activities we had. Big families are nice.”
“But when you feel like you’re the minimal person in Cody’s big picture, not even important in the big picture, it changes your perspective on everything.”
