Thanks to Google for collecting this data from January 1st, 2022 to his November 27th, we now have a list of the top trending searches for 2022. According to Google, these are “Searches that saw a spike in traffic over time in 2022 compared to 2021. “
Previously, Heard was claimed to be the most searched celebrity in 2022, followed by Depp, Queen Elizabeth II, Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian in descending order.
We know that’s not the case, as the list published by Google puts Depp at number one, Will Smith at number two, and Hurd at number three. Depp is not only the most searched celebrity, he is also said to be the most searched person in 2022. It seems like the whole world has been invested in the Depp vs. Hurd fight.
