Fort Worth, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) — Fort Worth’s most famous entertainment district prepares for fans to flock Monday night when TCU takes on Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Crockett Row hosts free block parties for fans.
Moody Younger, co-managing partner at Younger Partners, owner of Crockett Row, said:
They will be food trucks, live music and entertainment, a movie tavern with games on big screen TVs and two 25 foot outdoor TV screens outside.
Starting at 3pm, parking is free with validation at all Crockett Row garages.
“We want people to have fun and take it home without having to pay for parking as long as they come on our property,” Younger added.
Bars and restaurants such as Concrete Cowboy, The Social House and Mash’d will open.
The Social House owner told CBS 11 News that they will be adding staff to cater to the crowds, as well as some new purple drinks called Hypnotoad Margarita and Frog Water seltzer.
To protect the safety of visitors, the organizer will increase security.
“We are working with the police, we have off-duty officers, we have multiple officers at the event, and the Fort Worth Police Department is directly there,” Younger added.
