When Regi Schaiks and Kayo van Zoest launched their brand Flaneur in 2019, its identity was rooted in celebrating the exuberance of wonder, much like the name. In their meandering movements, these personalities serve not as mere observers, but as cultural recorders, keeping the spirit of the human experience alive. In this same vein, the brand has always explored the different characters of metropolitan Europe in her latest Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
Entitled ‘Somewhere in Europe’, the collection does double duty as an homage to the brand’s Parisian roots and a multifaceted exploration of style. With metropolitanism at the forefront, the collection contains a few references to Flaneur’s contemporary design philosophy. Exceptionally wearable yet visually appealing, the collection shapes personality through hybrid his tailoring, a variety of silhouettes, modern yet durable design details and premium manufacturing. . Oversized double-breasted his blazers, woolen overcoats, relaxed trousers, and hybrid suits are the hallmarks of tailoring.
Beyond this, denim serves as a signature fabric through distressed jeans, wide leg jeans, straight cut jeans and oversized shorts. Other pieces in the collection include form-fitting printed button-down shirts, graphic hoodies, long sleeve jackets and casual tees. Collection highlights include his multicolor artwork puffer jacket, black leather windbreaker oversized blazer, and brown hybrid his suit. Rounding out the collection is a selection of footwear, fedoras, caps and leather bags.
