THE VIEW shocked fans as its latest celebrity guest claimed to be “not afraid to tap it” during a passionate on-air moment.
Comedian Leslie Jones joined the talk show to discuss her new role as guest host on The Daily Show following Trevor Noah’s departure.
“You’re amazing and you have a great gig this week,” moderator Whoopi Goldberg told Leslie.
“You are the first guest host after Trevor Noah leaves,” she continued.
“You know they had to come out big, baby,” Leslie said of her upcoming role.
Whoopi asked if the new gig would be something Leslie would open up to every day, but said Leslie, as a “fun” person, would “disappoint her” if he talked about politics every day.
“And I won’t be a nice person. I won’t be a nice person,” she said of her upcoming hosting duties.
“Black women do a lot and sometimes people listen to us when we come out,” Leslie said. he concluded.
“And I’m not afraid… to tap it…” she said, clapping her hands for emphasis.

Leslie’s impassioned speech about her feelings about her role as a guest host on The Daily Show had fans cheering her on all over social media.
They repeated the same phrase she had spat out, showering the comedian with exaggerated praise.
“@Lesdoggg said, ‘I’m not afraid to tap it,'” wrote one fan. “I love her! #theview.”
“I’m not scared…. TAP IT**!” another person repeated. “Come on Leslie!!!
Another wrote simply, “I love Leslie Jones!!!”
Over the weekend, The View co-host Ana Navarro shared her own NSFW comments.
In a post on her personal Instagram, the 50-year-old shared her purchases at Florida’s Coral Gables Farmers Market.
With her dog, Chacha, in her arms, Anna picked up some fresh ingredients.
In one of the snapshots Ana shared, she held up an eggplant and a carrot to show how big they are.
“Yes. That’s a big deal. I think carrots have Peyronie’s disease,” she wrote, making a vulgar sexual joke that fans picked up on.
“Your sense of humor is the best! Thank you!” said one.
Another person added, “Anna gets it! She could say many things, but none were appropriate!”
A third user wrote, “Anna, you are hysterical!”
Lisa Marie Lack
Fans also had a lot to comment on on Monday’s episode of The View, but not in a positive way.
Elvis Presley’s only child, Lisa Marie, died a few days ago on January 12th after suffering a cardiac arrest at her California home.
Whoopi was out, so a Joy Behar-led view aired on Friday.
Fans couldn’t help but notice that Lisa Marie’s death was not mentioned during the episode.
View followers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations in secret.
The same person also checked in later for an update: “…and they never did. If #WhoopiGoldberg was there, she certainly acknowledged her and said a few kind words.” It must have been.
“I mean, she was only 54 and was Elvis’ only child. How insulting not to mention it. Rest in peace Lisa.”
