Actor and producer Fahad Fasil has made a big announcement about Tamil star Vijay’s highly anticipated film. The film is tentatively titled Thalapathy 67. He confirmed that the film is part of director Lokesh Kanagaraji’s Cinematic His universe, nicknamed LCU.

Fahad Fasil was playing Amar in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s last film Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan. By the end of the film, Amar renounces his allegiance to his government job as an experienced spy and goes rogue to avenge his wife’s murder. At a press conference, Fahd was asked if there will be a standalone film centered around Amar.
“It’s too early to share about that. An announcement should come from the producers,” he replied.
Filming for Thalapathy 67 is in full swing. The makers have kept all the details secret, so they haven’t even officially announced the start of production. The film is expected to arrive in cinemas later this year.
