Renowned Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli drew immediate netizen outrage after a video of him doing brutal swipes on Hrithik Roshan went viral. The video also features him calling out Bollywood while promoting Prabhas’ movie flyer, and from what we presume, the clip is also from 2009.
The old clip starts with Rajamouli comparing it to Dhoom 2 and explaining how the quality of movies has improved in Bollywood. The director also points out that there is no hero like Hrithik Roshan in Telugu cinema. However, he suddenly takes a sharp U-turn while promoting a billa and compares Hrithik Roshan to Prabhas. He claims, “Hrithik Roshan nikamma hai (Hrithik Roshan is useless).”
Well, his statement certainly didn’t go over well with netizens, and many were shocked at the hatred and jealousy that SS Rajamouli had towards Bollywood. It was shared and its caption read:
