new line cinemas home party The remake, in theaters now, has more celebrity cameos than I can count on both hands. It is to collectively gasp and yell at a bevy of famous faces crashing James’ crib or attending another event.
It’s no surprise that so many celebrities would agree to star in a reboot of their beloved ’90s cult comedy. Also, a basketball star as popular as James, whose film the SpringHill Company co-produced, persuaded big names like Lil Wayne, Mark Cuban, and Snoop Dogg to give a star to a relatively small film. You can also imagine that studded boost.
all home partycameos are brilliantly timed and help the film reach an exciting crescendo. I’d compare it to the jumpscare opposite of a horror movie.

my A
Early on, we found out Damon had a crush on R&B singer Mýa. He ends up inviting her to a party in her disguised email, and for some reason, she finds his poetically corny message endearing to her. I can’t imagine the “Case of the Ex” singer actually being into such a goofy guy, but the movie teeth Essentially a man’s fantasy.
Tristan Thompson
Retract What I Said Before—Tristan Thompson’s Appearance in Film teeth Real jump scares. We are to discover that it includes the NBA star who is probably best known for cheating on Khloe Kardashian.
Odell Beckham Jr.
Luckily, Thompson’s villainy is offset by star footballer OBJ.

Tinashe
Pop and R&B singer Tinashe performs Janet Jackson-level moves in the film’s signature dance sequence. There’s something immediately interesting about her appearance, as is her understated presence in her pop music realm. Nonetheless, she absolutely kills it on the dance floor as usual.
Anthony Davis
We can only assume that it was all too easy for James to get his frowning teammate out of the house for a few hours and briefly appear in the outdoor scene.
Walter Emmanuel Jones
It’s always fun when a niche childhood figure appears in a comedy movie, usually as a gag of sorts. Similarly, it’s a bit of a joke that the actor who played the original Black His Power His Ranger shows up at a party to meet “Hoe.”
Druski
Internet personalities who have probably been seen with Drake, Lil Yachty, or Jack Harlow topple portraits with hilarious and tense scenes.
