Now that Megan Thee Stallion has left 1501 Certified Entertainment, it’s up to Erica Banks to “keep the lights on” for the record label’s female rap fans. Thankfully, she’ll be making deliveries throughout her 2022, and that energy seems to only be gaining momentum heading into the new year.
Last June, the ‘Buss It’ hitmaker shared her Diary of the Queen of Flow A project with 13 titles. She held her own in many of them, but Bankroll Freddie joined on “Nasty” and DreamDoll and BeatKing on their most popular song, “Toot That.”

Since then, Banks has kept us entertained with several remixes, collaborations and freestyles. We heard her work with TUA Remix of “The Best” and cupcakKe and Tweeday on “HDBG Shemix”.
Most recently, he teamed up with SMITH and Tay Money to produce “Poppin’ Them Tags,” which has over 1.2 million streams on Spotify alone.
There’s no denying that fans are eager for the 24-year-old’s new full-length project. But lately, he seems to be focusing more on crafting freestyles.
Early afternoon on Tuesday (January 17th), Banks dropped a take on the Missy Elliott classic Gossip Folks. Her confidence is evident in her accompanying music in her videos, “Arrogant, bitch! I’m going to die” and “Pull up with that cute motherfucker like in her debut.”
