Based on Old Possum’s practical cat book by TS Eliot / CATS is set inside a larger-than-life junkyard playground and features Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and more. A purring cat lives. and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come to play one special night in a year, the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell stories to amuse their wise and benevolent leader, the Old Deuteronomy. They must choose one of his cats to ascend to the Heavyside tier and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
