Elle King fell down the stairs and became amnesiac.
The “Ex’s and Oh’s” hitmaker passed out last month after waking up in the middle of the night to make bottles for his 14-month-old son, Lucky, with fiancée Dan Tocker, after three shows. I had to cancel. It is revealed that she has now experienced amnesia and a concussion.
“I was walking down the stairs to make a bottle in the middle of the night when I slipped and passed out.
“I can laugh now because I’m so much better, but it was very intense. They said I had amnesia and post-concussion syndrome.”
The 33-year-old singer said the most terrifying part of her accident was that she was home alone with her son at the time, but she was grateful to live in such a supportive community. I am grateful.
She added on “Entertainment Tonight”: “But baby is perfectly fine and I’m doing much better.
“What I love about Nashville is the community that none of the recent cities I’ve lived in, if I had had many, really had. There’s something beautiful about friends…and my musical family all completely surrounded me and were so supportive, showing up for me and helping me take care of my baby.”
Elle’s recovery is ongoing, but she has admitted that some elements are foreign to her.
she said: “[There’s] A lot of PT… a lot of stretching and a lot of quiet downtime wasn’t my forte.”
Despite her fall, the “Tulsa” singer was able to get back to work and co-host CBS’s “New Year’s Eve Live: Big Bash in Nashville” special, where she also appeared and had a great time .
She said: “I was literally having the time of my life when we were counting down. I don’t know if I’ve ever been so excited.
“I lost my voice. I was screaming that countdown and I couldn’t speak for two days after that.
“Just look around and you’ll see Jimmy [Allen] and Kelsey [Ballerini] And Zak Brown realized that this is my life, this is my home, a very crazy opportunity. “
