Ed Boles confided in Jeremy Clarkson about his recent apology to Meghan Markle, which he called “weak.”
Yesterday, the former Top Gear host said he was “deeply sorry” for a Sun column in which he said he “hated” Markle.
Discussing his apology on Good Morning Britain, Boles said he didn’t have much time for the controversial station, saying, “I’m afraid we’re talking too much about Jeremy Clarkson here.

He added:
The former politician also thought it was wise for Harry and Meghan to accept an apology.
Following Clarkson’s apology, Harry and Meghan statementwith an eye on what the Grand Tour presenter wrote: “A new public apology was announced today by Mr Clarkson, but what should be addressed is hateful rhetoric, articles spreading dangerous conspiracy theories. It’s his long-standing pattern of writing misogyny.”

Clarkson also revealed that Amazon was “enthusiastic” with his comments, and Variety reported that the company would not extend his contract with him. That means the next season of the Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm will be the last.
