Dr. Alex George will return to Classic FM in January 2023 with a new six-part series on music and health.
Classic FM’s Uplifting Classics with Dr Alex George kicks off Sunday 15th January from 9pm to 10pm when the UK government’s first youth ambassador for mental health will sing some of his favorite uplifting classical music. See you explore.
Dr. Alex also offers practical advice and tips on how to stay positive in everyday life.
In a 6-week program, Dr. Alex highlights 50 songs to inspire and brighten your mood, from Holst’s ‘Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity’ and Scott Joplin’s ‘The Entertainer’ to ‘Aderation’ . By Florence Price.

Dr. Alex made his debut on Classic FM last January with Inner Harmony, a popular series about music, health and wellbeing, and returned this summer as a guest presenter for Classic FM’s Revision Hour.
Speaking to Classic FM ahead of the new series, Dr. Alex said: I listen to classical music every day and find it to have a very positive and uplifting effect on my mood and productivity.
“We know how difficult January can be for many people, so it’s a privilege to share some of the best Uplifting Classics each week and help lift the spirits of Classic FM listeners.
