Coronado Recreation and Golf Services hosts a variety of dance and theater programs this winter and spring. If your child is between her age 3 and her age 12 and has a knack for self-expression, dance, music and theater performances are great activities to get your child involved.
Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Dance, Cheer, Singing and Musical Theater classes are open for registration. Participants enrolled in these classes will learn choreographed dance moves to perform for family and friends on the last day of class. Students in the Musical Theater and Dance Program are cast in their own parts, learn character dialogue, learn dance moves, and showcase “Sing 2.”in the new In the Singing and Dancing Disney Edition class, participants sing and dance to Broadway and Disney musical hits. Junior actors and singers build self-esteem by developing improvisational skills through theater games and activities. All these performances build confidence and foster new friendships.
These six-week programs will run from January 30th to March 11th and will be held in the Coronado Community Center or Club Room at Glorietta Bay Park.
