Christina Applegate is gearing up for the big night as she’s attending her first awards show since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Ahead of the Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday, January 15, Applegate tweeted about her feelings about the event.

The MS Association of America responded to Applegate on Twitter with a message of support, saying, “Congratulations. We will always be rooting for you!”
In an earlier tweet, Applegate thanked the Screen Actors Guild for being nominated, writing, “Thank you. @SAGawards For this nomination today! I am proud to be part of this union since his 1975. Much love to my mate, my sweet Jean Smart, and the other wonderful women I have by my side. ”
This year’s SAG Awards will take place on February 27th.
Applegate previously revealed that he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021 while filming season 3, but was determined to work through the challenges to finish the show.
