Christina Applegate will make her first awards show appearance since sharing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2021. The actor and ‘Dead to Me’ star arrived at her 2023 Critics’ Choice Awards in a black suit and cane alongside her daughter Sadie Grace in her Le Noble . LeNoble posed next to her mother in her matching suit and expressed her support for her Applegate, which was nominated for Best Actress in her comedy series.
Prior to the show, Applegate opened up to her Twitter followers about her mixed feelings. “So this Sunday will be the first awards show I’ve attended since 2019, and the first show since MS.” she wrote January 13th.
Applegate announced its diagnosis of MS in August 2021, writing: twitter“It’s been a strange journey. But the more I know of people with this disease, the more people have supported me.” She said, “It’s been a tough journey. As it is, the road continues, unless someone prevents it.”
