It’s a new day in Chelsea Houska’s life.
The biggest change, of course, is the fact that Chelsea is now the star of her own HGTV show and her ratings are through the roof.
Ok, I don’t think it’s fair to call it her Own Because the show is co-hosted by Chelsea with her husband, Cole DeVore.
However, Cole is a calm and humble man who is probably happy to make Chelsea the star of the relationship.
It’s a nice change of pace from other major relationships in Chelsea’s life.
Of course, we’re talking about the nightmare situation she endured with Adam Lind.
If you’re a longtime Teen Mom viewer, you’ll likely remember that Adam is the father of Chelsea’s eldest daughter, Aubrey.
“Sperm donor” may be a more accurate term than “father,” as Chelsea and Cole raised Aubrey, but Adam has been nothing more than a sporadic and chaotic presence in the margins of her life. bottom.
Lind was arrested last October for unpaid child support.
Shortly thereafter, Chelsea spoke publicly about her ex for the first time in years, revealing that he had a job and was living a decent life.
In other words, he’s not avoiding child support just because he’s broke.
Although Lind waived his visitation rights years ago, he’s still Aubrey’s father, and Chelsea has made the fact clear that the two want to have a relationship.
Perhaps that’s why Chelsea were surprisingly positive towards Adam in a recent interview with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.
“Honestly, everyone wants to know our relationship and where it’s at. I totally get that. question[line] of us,” Chelsea told Ashley.
“Our relationship, it’s okay. We’re not best friends, but we’re not enemies either. If I met him, I wouldn’t feel bad at all,” she continued.
Chelsea says things are much easier to navigate now that Aubree is in her teens.
“I think it helps that Aubrey is a teenager now and doesn’t have a lot to work out. [for them]I’m really okay,” Houska said.
‘There’s no bad vibes, it’s a very open relationship,’ Chelsea said recently us weekly.
“I don’t have a bad feeling. We see him from time to time, and it’s perfectly fine.”
Chelsea says her entire inner circle has reached a good place after years of turmoil.
“I feel like everyone is in a really good place,” she said.
Adam may not deserve forgiveness, but Chelsea is mature enough to realize that it’s best for her family.
And that’s exactly why fans fell in love with her on two different networks!
