Celebrity Cruises announced that the fourth ship in the Edge series, Celebrity Ascent, officially touched the water for the first time when it emerged from the Chantiers de L’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
With the Celebrity Ascent’s hull and external superstructure completed, the vessel can now proceed to the next phase of construction. The ship is set to debut in December 2023 and will be the ‘twin sister’ ship to Celebrity Beyond in every way.

Travelers aboard Celebrity Ascent will enjoy signature experiences found only on board Edge Series ships, including two-level Edge Villa Staterooms and Infinite Verandah Staterooms with direct access to The Retreat Sun Deck, exclusively for suites. .
