Celebrities have taken to social media to express their shock and heartbreak over the death of Elvis Presley’s only child, singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley.

Actor John Travolta wrote on Instagram, “Sorry Lisa girl. I miss you but I know we’ll meet again.”
Songwriter Linda Thompson, who dated Elvis in the 1970s, also took to Instagram. “My heart is too heavy for words,” she said.
Fashion designer Donatella Versace said on Instagram that she will never forget the time they spent together, adding, “Your beauty and kindness were so radiant.”
Actress Octavia Spencer said she was “very saddened to have lost another brilliant star, Lisa Marie Presley.” Said on Twitter. “My condolences to her loved ones and her many fans.”
The Golden Globes Twitter account said: incredibly sad” by the news of her death. Presley’s last public appearance was on Tuesday at an awards ceremony honoring Austin Butler, who won Best Actor for his Baz Luhrmann biopic “Elvis.”

Actor and singer Corey Feldman said he spent hours on the phone with Presley when he was divorcing singer Michael Jackson. Feldman said Benjamin Keough was “like a little brother” to him.
