Kevin Campbell has backed a potential Arsenal move for Tammy Abraham.
The Roma hitman was strongly linked with a move to the Gunners in 2021 before joining the Italian outfit from Chelsea.
Arsenal may need new number 9 to cover injured Gabriel Jesus and Abraham [LaRoma24.it].
Eddie Nketiah has done a good job replacing the Brazilian so far.
However, Campbell insists he needs more firepower, perhaps even after acquiring Mihailo Madrik, and believes Abraham could be one of them.
He said sky sports news: “Mudryk would be a really good addition.I think we still need another striker.Rumor has it they were interested in Tammy Abraham. So they can mix and match different players and play, so I think that’s a good option as well.”
This is a big decision for Arsenal.
Even if Abraham doesn’t join, he probably won’t, but regardless of whether Madrick is signed or not, Gunner needs some extra firepower.
Remember, you have a great chance of winning your first Premier League title since 2004.
And missing that opportunity to not reinforce can be detrimental.
It may not be Abraham, but Campbell is correct in saying that his former outfit calls for another number 9.
