Big Thief wants to share the gift of music with its students. On Thursday, the group invited educators to reach out to the band. This will allow students to watch the group perform, interact with the folk rock group, and do a soundcheck for the 2023 tour.
“Big Thief aims to bring an educational element to the touring process by offering an open invitation for teachers to bring their students to our soundcheck,” the group wrote on Instagram. “Our hope is that students will be able to come watch soundchecks, ask questions, and discuss creativity, music, show performance, songwriting, and more!”
A group led by Adrianne Lenker reached out to teachers via email to see how they could “organize this in a way that would be most beneficial to the students.”
