On January 7th, popular BGMI player and YouTuber Naman “MortaL” Mathur hosted a watch party for the PMGC 2022 Grand Finals on his YouTube channel. He was joined by famous stars such as Raj “Snax” Verma and his Animesh “Thug” Agarwal.
During the livestream, MortaL gave reasons why S8UL cannot collaborate with Bollywood celebrities and foreign YouTubers like iShowSpeed. In response, a BGMI pro said it would be impossible for the organization to work with the aforementioned personality because it would require hundreds of thousands of dollars to be spent.
Moreover, it will be more of an investment than a collaboration.
MortaL’s exact words are:
“We cannot work with them. If we want to work with them, we have to spend hundreds of thousands of rupees.”
MortaL has a huge following, so his comments have caused quite a stir in the Indian gaming community.

When talking about Bollywood celebrities, MortaL said that actors do not easily collaborate because they make little profit.
He also talked about how collaboration works in practice. A well-known player has pointed out how one party must pay the other in order to benefit from the joint venture.
Here is his statement:
“First of all, if a Bollywood star works with us, they will not benefit from it. The collaboration works so that both sides profit from the deal. If so, we have to pay us. Again, if we want to profit from it, we have to pay them.But Bollywood stars can’t easily collaborate Therefore, collaboration is not possible.
MortaL then gave his opinion on collaborating with overseas YouTubers. He emphasized how to only work with someone who boasts a similar number of subscribers, ultimately benefiting both parties.

“In the case of foreign YouTubers, if they have a similar number of subscribers, they only collaborate on videos. No. It’s a win-win.”
S8UL recently won the Content Creation Team of the Year category at the Esports Awards 2022, taking the top spot. Organizations release videos involving their creators (BGMI players and PC gamers).
Now that S8UL has won one of the biggest awards for content creation, it remains to be seen what they have in store for their fans.
