8/8 polka dots and cutouts
Emily’s simple blue polka-dot and cut-out dress is one of the most accessible looks to replicate at home, as it’s something you can find at your local mall. While visiting Provence for a work event, Emily kept her look classy and light, fitting well into the serene landscape of the event. In Episode 1 of Season 3, Emily first appears on screen at the top of the Eiffel Tower. She wears a pink feathery dress and is approached by Sylvie and Madeline. Silvie is arguably the best and most consistently dressed character in the series. Her fashion sense leans towards outfits that highlight a woman’s beautiful figure. It turns into a couture nightmare when her nemesis Madeline shows up in the same outfit and brags that it’s “borrowed.” Madeline admits Sylvie wore it better, both on the show and in real life by actress Kate Walsh, but it was cake for a bad day in every way. Emily, who ends up being season 3’s most dramatic episode, is arguably one of the best looks in the entire series. For Gabrielle and Camille’s engagement party, Emily showed off a simple high/low floral dress. From simple hairstyles to matching with Alfie, the outfits are sophisticated while staying true to Emily’s preferred fashion taste.

For me, a person who can wear a suit is worthy of being called a fashion icon. Perhaps that’s Alfie’s way of wearing a suit that works well enough to capture the hearts of many (professional yet fun with a few buttons undone). Emily in Paris Fans can certainly agree that if Alfie returns for the fourth season, expect to see him in a new suit.
