Auj and Jer left the show some time ago. They’ve done their own thing, all the way to different levels of what we call ‘success’.
Like Jeremy’s brother, they had complicated reasons for leaving the reality TV world.
Audrey opens up about one of the hardest moments of her life…and how small people, big world Made it even worse.
Earlier this week, Audrey Roloff held an Instagram Q&A with her fans and followers.
Fans send in questions. Auj then provides a reply on her Instagram story.
One question was easy. What was Audrey’s “hardest moment” to capture on camera during filming? small people, big world Year.
The answer was really simple. Audrey didn’t have to wrap her head around the example.
“Whatever Ember postpartum,” she began to reply.
“It was very hard,” Audrey characterized.
“And I was in a lot of pain,” Audrey continued.
“And,” she points out, she’s “still figuring out motherhood as a first-time mom.”
This would have been 2017 when she and Jeremy welcomed Ember Jean.
“Besides, we had just finished remodeling our house,” recalls Audrey.
“And she and Jeremy moved in three weeks before Ember was born.”
Unfortunately, she continued, they calmly said, “Our kitchen was flooded after that.”
“And I had to leave home when she was six weeks old,” said Audrey.
So they moved and moved. “And then I had to start all over again.”
And it wasn’t just newborn stress. Audrey said they went through these life stresses “and they were filming it.”
It’s no surprise that Audrey and Jeremy chose the very next year to announce their departure. They broke the news in July 2018.
“A year ago I decided this season was going to be my last. It was a great run,” Jeremy wrote at the time.
“And,” he continued.
By that point, Jeremy had been on the show for 14 years and had appeared in over 300 episodes.
Audrey has been on the show since 2013.
The 17th season isn’t a bad run for pretty much anything.
Jeremy and Audrey aren’t the first members of their family to walk away from reality shows.

Meanwhile, Jacob hated doing it while growing up, but his parents didn’t give him a choice.
Zack and Tori are still part of the show. But for how long? Tori addressed this on her Instagram a few months ago.
“I think our time is definitely coming to an end, but I’m trying to enjoy it while I’m here!” she told her fans.
Only time will tell when it’s time for the show, and perhaps the show itself, to run its course.
