As I said earlier, the country of heroes is quite real. There are several reasons why people become Braves fans. Maybe you were obsessed with ’90s teams. Maybe you were the off-market TBS kid who grew up with the Atlanta Braves all the time on TV. So, I grew up in the Southeast and my only baseball apparel was Braves apparel.
I say all this to show how big and wide the land of the brave is. The Braves are easily a top five team in terms of popularity, along with the Yankees, Dodgers, and Cubs.
