BFFs Ananya Panday and Navya Naveli Nanda recently joined The Archies team in Thailand to kick in the new year. Director Zoya Akhtar and actor Vedan Raina were among them. Vedang is currently sharing many photos of his time spent on a yacht in Phuket. Sharing the photo on Instagram, Vedang wrote “Hello 2023.” The first photo shows him in a white shirt and black shades while sipping coconut water on the beach. Most of them have their backs to the camera. There is also a photo of Vedan posing with Ananya in a green bikini top and white pajamas, and another with Navya Naveli Nanda in a brown top.
Actor Tara Sharma, who also plays a key role in the film, dropped a heart emoji in response to the post. A Vedan fan commented, “Oh, I passed out.” Another asked him, “Which facial cleanser do you use??” A fan also wrote, “You are the sun yourself..already a star before the release of Archie.” Many people marveled at seeing Ananya in his photographs.
The Archies team finished filming the film a few weeks ago. The film is the acting debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Sridevi and film producer Bonnie Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. Agastya is the brother of Navya Naveli Nanda and the son of Shweta Nanda. Vedang, Mihir Ahuja, Dot and Yuvraj Menda are also among him in the main cast.
Set in the 1960s, the Netflix film is an Indian adaptation of the popular American comic Archies Comics. Billed as a coming-of-age story based on India’s Anglo-Indian community, The Archies follows the lives of popular fictional teenagers Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle, and more. .
The Archies is produced by Zoya Akhtar and her longtime collaborator Reema Kagti under the production companies Tiger Baby, Graphic India and Archie Comics.
