Anna Duggar can’t quit her nasty husband.
All celebrity gossip and reality TV fans are aware of this unfortunate fact at this point.
Despite Josh Duggar cheating on his wife…and despite Josh Duggar abusing his own sister…and despite Josh Duggar being convicted of child sex crimes…Anna remains by his side.
Heck, as previously reported, she continues to visit Josh behind bars.
This is sad, but new reports suggest it goes beyond sad and into scary territory.
Because Anna constantly exposes her children to Josh’s federal prison as well.
A source at FCI Seagoville in Dallas, Texas told The Sun:
“I’ve spoken to Anna several times. Usually all I’ve seen is Anna and her children, and I don’t really know anyone else.”
The insider explains that the prison has “board games and blocks” to keep the kids busy during visits.
Prisoners and visitors are sitting opposite each other on ‘plastic chairs’ in a ‘really cold’ room,” the source continued, describing a less than ideal situation for a young child.
“Sometimes the vending machines have food in them, but often there’s nothing for weeks at a time. It’s so uncomfortable.”
Things seem to be getting worse.
“There’s not much security around because it’s dramatically understaffed,” an individual who told The Sun claims of the facility.
“Prison has pretty heavy politics, and that means it has gangs. Fortunately, it’s not as violent as a medium security facility…
“But given the level of neglect, we know this is a dangerous situation and that the family is concerned…
“Even though he feels physically safe, I think he’s always looking out for his health.”
There have been recent reports that Anna has been in marriage counseling and is trying to work her nerves to leave Josh.
But few observers believe that this actually happens.
“Anna is still very much in doubt about their future,” a family insider recently told In Touch Weekly.
“She takes her marriage vows seriously and wants to protect her husband and everything, but the reality of her situation is very difficult.”
Of course, Josh was arrested and charged with possession and receipt of child pornography in April 2021.
He was convicted in December of the same year and sentenced to over 12 years in prison last May.
Anna has not said anything publicly since her sentence was handed down, but she continues to spend time with her incarcerated spouse and has not filed for divorce.
And you know what they say about actions compared to words, right? they speak very loudly.
