Actor Anil Kapoor recently spoke out about changing scenarios in the film industry. With decades of experience in the industry, the veteran actor feels that hard work alone cannot guarantee success. He shared his thoughts during the trailer launch event for his upcoming show, Alibaug’s Night, his manager. Night Manager starring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shovita Dhulipala. This is the Indian version of the British series in which Anil and Aditya turn against each other against the backdrop of illegal arms trade. The drama series will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on February 17th.
During the trailer’s release, Anil shared that he needed to find new avenues to keep his work going. “The first thing that makes me nervous and I feel like I can’t do this is, I’ve never done anything like this before. Will the director offer me a job after seeing this, or will I quit my job altogether? I’ve always had that, and that’s what drives me,” Indian Express quoted him.
He went on to share that he finds it getting harder to get his audience excited, adding: conduct. It’s so hard and it’s getting harder and harder every day to excite the audience with so much going on around them. Man needs blessings, only hard work no longer needs (cuts).
