Angela Deem thinks she’s a star 90 day fiancee, Happy Ever After? It’s an ensemble show.
In fact, some of the drama that unfolded during Tell All Part 3 was pretty far from Angela. Physically, at least.
My husband Michael attended the special remotely. she is from Nigeria. So was her Usman. They were practically next to each other during filming.
For years, Angela has despised Usman. And she lamented that she didn’t “trust” her husband to spend time with her enemies.
To sort all this out, it should be noted that Angela Deem and Usman “Sojaboy” Umar are not always at odds.
During Tell All, Usman showed her some support, despite a fierce battle that took place before Angela was seated (although she started it).
She had expressed her heartbreak over Michael Ilesammi’s cheating on Instagram.
Michael tries to reassure Angela that it’s okay, but doesn’t respond well.
Angela’s abusive behavior was terrifying to watch, but the right thing to do is break up – don’t cheat.
Usman said yes. He also added that Michael should simply say “I’m sorry” instead of belittling what he’s done.
Clearly, Angela doesn’t need to speak on her behalf. If anything, her victims need advocates.
(Yes, we mean literal victim. For years, viewers have watched in horror as she verbally and emotionally abuses Michael. put his hand on him.Michael is a victim and he needs help.)
Naturally, she yelled at not only Usman and Yara, but also Michael. But she’s not the only cast member.
Kimberly Menzies has elaborated on her breakup with Usman. She is the one who took off her engagement ring.
Despite their ugly split and all the hurt that comes with it, the two are still friends. Kimberly is also open to friend-with-perks arrangements.
This is important because Kimberly and Usman discussed it at length. Usman, of course, was participating remotely.
Towards the end of Part 3 of the Season 7 Tell All Special, Shawn Robinson asked Michael if he could still hear him.
The storm he was in became audible to the cast and (thanks to the editor’s choice) to the audience.
And people realized that they could also hear the sound of the storm through Usman’s screen. Nigeria is not a small country. Were they both under the same storm?
This is when Angela declares her suspicions — Michael and Usman were at the same hotel.
(Most remote Tell All participants record in some sort of studio, including a hotel room, rather than at home. Confessions work similarly.)
Angela was quick to argue that the two shouldn’t “hang out” under any circumstances.
Angela added that she has every right to control her husband in this way. She told Usman that this was because “I’m f-king him, not you.”
A conflict erupts and Usman yells at Angela.
She then went one step further and claimed that Michael would “flog your ass if you want to stay married.” Charming.
Tell All took a break, but the cameras kept rolling. Angela then called Michael and demanded he remove her microphone.
Michael protested that he and Usman were in separate, albeit nearby, buildings. Angela was still expressing her anger.
She advised her husband to stop making “excuses”. Apparently, even interacting with his castmates violates her idea of how much control she should have over him.
Michael decided to try to make peace with his wife’s enemies.
“I want peace between us today and need to straighten things out with Usman,” he explained.
So he walked into the room where Usman was filming. That interaction won’t happen until the fourth and final installment of Season 7 Tell All, which airs on Sunday.
