Andie MacDowell and Rainey Qualley had a super cute mother-daughter date at the Marc Cain fashion show during Berlin Fashion Week on January 18th. The two posed together on the red carpet before the event began, sitting next to each other in the front row. Laugh along during the show.
Qualley, 32, is one of three children MacDowell shares with ex-husband Paul Qualley. Her siblings are her brother Justin, 37, and her sister Margaret, 28. Most recently, Rainey starred in her 2020 “Love in the Time of Corona” and her 2022 thriller “Shut In.” Rainey has also released her music under the name Rainsford.
In October 2022, Laney reflected on how her mother and sister influenced her style. “I think we subconsciously inherit our style from our parents. We gravitate toward feminine patterns and fits that my mom liked,” she told ET. “I love collecting meaningful vintage rings and jewelry, such as the one I got from my father and the one I inherited from my mother…” gave her… I love things that are a bit spooky… Jewelry is really special because it can tell stories for generations.
Laney said she and Margaret are good at sharing, saying, “We’re not jealous or possessive at all. It’s actually the opposite.!’ ‘ and she’ll say, ‘Do you want it?'”
In 2021, McDowell played Margaret’s mother in Netflix’s The Maid. The pair told The Washington Post at the time that it was Margaret’s idea to cast her own mother. I thought this was going to be a really special occasion…the material was very strong and the mother-daughter dynamic was a very important part of the story…together.” I added that I was making marguerite soup.
