Amy Roback and TJ Holmes may be in love.
However, they are reportedly unemployed.
The journalist won’t be returning to co-host Good Morning America’s third hour, according to a Us Weekly source, weeks after it was taken off the air during a personal relationship investigation.
As previously detailed, Robach and Holmes, who are both married, were photographed lounging together late last year.
“Amy and TJ went out and a decision was made,” an insider told the aforementioned tabloid on Friday of Roback and Holmes.
“The network is negotiating with them about their exit deal and announcement.”
The TV personality aired a week after the aforementioned snapshot surfaced.
Neither has publicly commented on the scandal or subsequent professional punishment.
The photos were taken while the reporters were apparently traveling to upstate New York together and included at least one snapshot of Holmes touching the back end of a colleague.
Both stars have deleted their social media accounts in response to the scandal.
Roback’s husband, actor Andrew Shue, has removed all references to his wife from his social media accounts after these images went viral.
The spouses have been married since 2010 and are said to have separated this summer. Their divorce papers are expected to be finalized this weekend.
Holmes filed for divorce from wife Marilee Fiebig in December after 12 years as husband and wife.
The two share a nine-year-old daughter, Sabine, and the former CNN correspondent is also the father of daughter Brianna and son Jaden from a previous marriage to Amy Farson.
“Ten years ago Marilee Faibich married me,” Holmes wrote in a semi-cryptic 2020 Facebook post, adding at the time:
“And despite my best efforts, she has remained married to me for the last ten years. gave and kicked her nice ass out the door.
Even if this dismissal news proves to be true, I doubt it’s the last time we’ll hear about Roback and Holmes in regards to the Good Morning America spin-off GMA3.
A source told TMZ that both of these lovebirds have hired lawyers to potentially file a lawsuit against ABC for unlawful termination.
The website says, “Lawyers will raise this question with ABC… Has ABC ever used a moral or conduct clause to fire or discipline two consenting adults on the same level?
The insider went on to say that whether or not this is the first time ABC has invoked the morality clause under such circumstances will become clear in the black and white anchor.
In fact, things can get very ugly and very personal very quickly.
Until then, Roback and Holmes don’t seem to mind too much.
They engaged in hot and heavy PDA just after the calendar turned to 2023.
