Antara Srivastav, the daughter of the late comedian Raju Srivastav, has thanked several people for supporting her family after her father suffered a heart attack. In a new interview, Antara thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for stating that he had “kept in touch until the last day”. “Every day when I was there,” he said. Raju died of a heart attack in September 2022, more than 40 days after being hospitalized. He has been on life support since being admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on 10 August 2022. He was cremated in front of his family and his closest friends.
In an interview with Times of India, Antara said: Arvind Kejriwal wrote to us.Laloo Prasad Yadav is a big fan of my father.And I have to tell you.My father’s health condition with one man in hospital I asked every day about Amitabh Bachchan. That’s a big deal. My father idolized him and he became him because of Mr. Bachchan. All of this has given us a lot of power. ”
She also added, “Kapil Sharma paid tribute to my father on his show and I am very grateful to him. Raju has been in the entertainment industry since the 1980s. He acted in many Hindi films such as Maine Pyaar Kiya and Baazigar. He rose to fame in 2005 after participating in the first season of his stand-up comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. His last appearance on screen was in his Hostel Daze season 3 of his series of comedies released after his death.
