Amanda Seyfried’s golden Critics’ Choice Awards gown changed color when she wore it.
On Sunday, the award-winning actress hit the red carpet in a gold archive dress by the French fashion house styled by Elizabeth Stewart. Drop out The star revealed that the dress wasn’t entirely picture-perfect.
During a red carpet interview with Access to HollywoodSeyfried, 37, confessed that the gown was “ripped and actually broken.”
“I’m about to take off my dress,” she joked, and one of the tassel-adorned sleeves slipped down her arm. Year, beautiful! “
The design from the label’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection was cut from a piece of gold lamé chiffon with twisted fringes.
Earlier in the night, Seyfried said her look made her feel like a winner.
“It’s a statue dress, so even if you don’t get it, at least I look like that,” she quipped.

Despite her fashion emergency, Seyfried has a lot to get excited about at Sunday’s event. Drop out She teamed with Cartier jewelry, gold liquid metallic Stuart Weitzmann heels, a bold red lip from Lancôme’s Lovesolue Rouge Intimate Lipstick with a French touch, and a chic, relaxed ponytail.
However, Seyfried’s wardrobe malfunction seemed to get the best of her when she took the stage later in the evening to accept the award for Best Limited Series in the hit Hulu series alongside the cast and crew. Hoshi is seen wearing a black jacket and has her hair down in loose waves to appear to cover a broken gown.

This isn’t the first time Seyfried has received accolades and accolades for her acting, nor is it the first time she’s had a fashion emergency.
At the 2021 virtual Golden Globe Awards, the star’s at-home glamor was once again styled by Stewart in a coral Dolce & Gabbana dress with floral ruffled sleeves, Seyfried said. . yes! Make her feel “sunny, bouncy, and charming.”
