Filmmaker Ridley Scott is working on a sequel to his multiple Academy Award-winning film Gladiator (2000), and the latest buzz is Paul Mezcal, known for the series Normal People and critically acclaimed drama . after sunis in talks to appear in the long-awaited sequel.
Gladiator has made Russell Crowe a superstar. Inspired by Daniel P. Mannix’s 1958 book The Dying, the film is historical fiction about the revenge of former Hispano-Roman general Maximus Decimus Meridius, whose family is sly. Murdered by Emperor Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix). The second part will portray Lucius, the son of Commodus’ sister Lucilla (Connie Nielsen), and will be played by Paul Mescal.
