CLARKSBURG, W.Va, (WBOY) — Another year of great festivals filled with good music and good beer (or wine). If you would like to learn more about any of the events listed below, please follow the links in the headings for more information.

May 20th — This outdoor music festival is held at the Weathered Ground Brewery and features over 20 diverse musical acts from West Virginia. This is a family-friendly, all-day event that opens at 10am.
May 27th — This rocking event will be held in Jackson Square on Memorial Day weekend to benefit the Historic Clarksburg Cemetery Preservation Alliance of West Virginia (HCWVCPA). The HCWVCPA has been honoring his veteran’s final resting place since 2011, according to an event post. The event will feature live music as well as food and craft vendors.All ages open at 11:00 a.m.
June 1-3 — Featuring Les Claypool as headliner, the Mountain Music Festival features a wide variety of musical talent alongside beers from the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company. The event runs Thursday through Saturday and allows attendees to enjoy live music as well as a variety of outdoor adventure activities, including ziplining, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, paintball, and more.
July 8th — The Johnny Johnson Festival, a festival honoring the pioneers of rock and roll, pays homage to the “Fathers of Rock and Roll” at the Fairmont at Palatine Park. The festival is free and features musical acts from Detroit’s Ernie Johnson, Everyday Everyone, and the High and Mighty Brass Band. September 23rd — Sinston’s Rolling Brews held its first event last September and plans to continue in 2023. This beer and music extravaganza was attended by eight of his different breweries in West Virginia.
October 1-2 — Ok, not beer, but we still have live music, so it counts. This long-running event will continue in 2023, with at least six different West Virginia wineries in attendance, and he has nine different jazz performances scheduled for the weekend. The event will be held at Camp Muffley in Monongalia County and will start at 11am Saturday and 12noon Sunday.
