Going into a typical awards ceremony, the big question, of course, is who and what wins top honors. This year’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony is not your typical awards ceremony.
The 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards have announced that NBC will not televise the 2022 awards ceremony due to an ethics, financial and diversity scandal involving the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group behind the awards. It is the first edition of the annual spectacle to be broadcast on television since. The biggest question, then, is whether the show’s hosts will be able to regain the trust of the audience, the network, and the Hollywood figures whose existence depends.
Still, there will be an official winner. As in previous years, the show will award honors in both film and television categories.ć»Includes “All at Once” and “Inishelin’s Banshee”. It has multiple award-winning TV shows such as ‘Abbott Elementary’, ‘House of the Dragon’, ‘Better Call Saul’ and ‘The Crown’.
The ceremony will air on NBC and stream on Peacock. See below for updates when the winners are announced.
